Juniper
Hi, I’m Juniper Rakhman Gerardi, a New York–based designer currently working full-time as an Assistant Designer at EXPRESS, supporting men’s bottoms across denim and woven categories. In this role, I work closely across design, technical, and production teams, contributing to CAD development, fit and construction, fabric and wash development, and the day-to-day execution of styles within a fast-paced commercial environment.
I’m a 2024 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University through the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program, where I designed an interdisciplinary course of study spanning fashion design, fine arts, graphic design, costume production (MFA-level), UX design, media/journalism, and fashion marketing. This background allows me to approach design with both creative range and technical rigor.
Alongside my corporate work, I maintain an independent design practice that explores sustainability, material reuse, and non-gendered silhouettes. Across all of my work, I’m especially drawn to pattern, print, and thoughtful construction, with an emphasis on responsible material use and long-term wearability.
